Love of Profession
Orthodontics is the perfect blend of dentistry, engineering, and biology, and the reason I initially pursued the field. But what excites me the most is seeing the genuine happiness of my patients when we finish their orthodontic treatment. That never gets old, and it's the reason I love coming to the office every day. A beautiful, healthy smile creates confidence that can permeate every aspect of a person’s life.
We develop close relationships with our patients during the course of their treatment. Hearing their latest news, catching up on their most recent adventures and plans for vacations, and learning about their lives, is very rewarding. For me, being an orthodontist isn’t just about straightening teeth and creating beautiful smiles; it’s about the people I serve and the friendships we develop.
Education and Commitment to Continuing Education
- Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering, Pennsylvania State University
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine, University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine
- Certificate of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, SUNY Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine
- American Association of Orthodontists
- Northeast Society of Orthodontists
- Connecticut State Dental Association
- American Dental Association
In order to provide my patients with access to the most current technologies and techniques, and constantly improve the care we offer, I pursue continuing education opportunities throughout the year. My attendance at meetings, lectures, seminars, and hands-on demonstrations, including those offered through the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association, ensure I am fully informed and up to date on the orthodontic treatments that yield the best outcomes in the most timely manner.
Away from the Practice
I grew up in Needham, Massachusetts, and have lived in Connecticut for many years now. When I'm not at the office, you can find me spending time with my wife Amy and our black lab mix named Riley. We love to spend time outdoors, and you might find me playing soccer or getting in a round or two of golf. Of course, I’m a huge Boston sports fan too, and am always glad to talk about the teams with my patients.
I’m looking forward to meeting you and being your orthodontist. Together, we’ll make the smile of your dreams a reality!
